The Museum sought support from Diverse Matters to deliver equality impact assessment training. The training was delivered across the services to ensure that key people involved in key projects and processes could ensure that that their provision did not adversely impact on any communities.
Diverse Matters also enhanced their equality impact assessment policy and procedures so the process was user friendly and a positive tool for those using it. This will enable that the Museum can ensure that their future projects, procedures are inclusive and do not adversely affect their visitors, staff or volunteers.
