Inclusion in schools/colleges

Inclusion is an increasingly important part of the government’s agenda and it is committed to ensuring that all pupils are integrated as far as possible into the daily life of schools and the local community.

The inclusion agenda and context has shifted from pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to those with the full range of barriers to learning including:

  • Gender/Gender identity
  • LGBT+ inclusion

Diverse Matters can deliver PSE lessons covering a wide range of equality, diversity and inclusion topics to children and young people of all ages.  We have over 15 years of working directly and indirectly with children, young people, senior managers and colleagues across the public sector, third sector and political sphere.
