Carol is a qualified teacher with an MA in Education, specialising in psychology and worked across the four unitary authority areas of Greater Bristol. She is a successful school advisor and teacher offering over 20 years of progressive experience in providing professional consultancy for leaders, ensuring improvements of standards for all pupils. A proven track record in supporting the transforming of school standards specifically for Black Asian and Racially minoritised and English as an Additional Language pupils and families; having a strong and highly respected knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies. Carol believes that all children and young people should be supported to reach their full potential. For this reason she coaches and mentors children young people, adults, parents and carers within school and social settings. Carol also works voluntarily in supplementary schools, has introduced projects such as Going for Gold in educational settings and has been involved in the Bristol One Curriculum through updating the Black Bristolians. In addition to this she works in ecclesiastical settings, facilitating and providing training, teaching and doing inspirational talks.
