Carol is an experienced trainer and developer with 10 years working for a national charity both as a Support Worker in the volunteer team and as Regional Trainer and National Materials Developer (including both facilitated e learning). Carol thrives on the opportunity to raise awareness and give a voice to vulnerable people through one to one support work, encouraging engagement and open debate facilitation of workshops and creation of learner centered course material.
Carol’s current associateships involve her in working directly with students training a wide variety of assistive learning technologies and providing training and consultancy for care homes and foster care organisations. Carol is also a graduate of the Mental Health First Aid England course and will shortly qualify as an instructor in Mental Health First Aid.
Carol also has experience within the public sector and has carried out roles including Nottinghamshire Police IPA boards on diversity and currently volunteers for the NSPCC’s school service working on their ‘Speak Out, Stay Safe campaign’.
