Anne was a Civil Servant for over 30 years across a number of Departments finally spending a number of years in Whitehall. Diversity and Inclusion has always been a passion and interest in her life and as a result became her specialism. Anne was responsible for Equality and Diversity in FCO Services and at the same time I was closely involved with the emerging Equality Act of 2010, Anne also sat on a number of cross government diversity groups and was also involved in the design and delivery of Civil Service Equality and Diversity training courses.
Anne has been described as tenacious and resilient in equal measure, with a track record of doing what is right not what is easy, often in an environment resistant to cultural change.
She now uses this experience to offer practical and down to earth advice to companies large and small, in the public private and not for profit sector, to persuade them of the business benefits of a diverse workforce. She also explores how unconscious bias affects day to day decision making and work with groups and individuals to remove barriers, real or perceived, to help them achieve their true potential.
